Video: Dream Drunk – “{~,~} (That Witch Shall Not Be Named)” + More Info

About two months ago, I stumbled across Dream Drunk’s track “Have You Ever Been Sleeping…?” which was just an epic pastiche of tracks that I never thought I’d hear mashed up upon one another. So many sweet bands in that track, so little time. So they obviously have to go on top of each other. Joel, the mastermind behind Dream Drunk, has created a music video, above, for “{~,~} (That Witch Shall Not Be Named).”

In the long lines of bizarre things I have heard, this might just be the most bizarre. Anna shot this mashup track over to me earlier this morning to play “Name that sample!” and I was not disappointed. Dream Drunk (aka Joel Straley) combines just about everything imaginable under the sun into “Have You Ever Been Sleeping…?” (streaming after the jump), an amazing clash of sound.
