New Track: Winks, “Animal”

Drum machines and reverbed guitar don’t really seem like an original idea, but when Baltimore’s Chase O’Hara puts them together, it comes out like nothing I’ve ever heard before. The new track from Winks upcoming cassette She’s Done adds a new high-fidelity edge to the almost ’80s movie soundtrack style of the band. Chase’s crooning vocals sound sharper then ever and the guitar almost doubles as a bass. The rest of the cassette should be up digitally this week at Friends Records, where currently 2 other songs, “CORBS” and “She Cums in Colors” are streaming
