Details Revealed About New Cloud Nothings LP

The new self-titled LP for Cleveland’s Cloud Nothings, a.k.a. Dylan Baldi, will drop on January 25, 2011 on Carpark. The new album, with art seen above, was recorded in Baltimore’s Copycat Building with producer Chester Gwazda who has worked with Dan Deacon and Future Islands. The album, which Baldi plays all the instruments on again, is “without the lo-fi scuzz” of his previous releases like Turning On.

It’s safe to say that this is my most anticipated release in 2011. Sorry, Panda Bear. I’ve said it so many times on this blog, but Baldi’s music is absolutely perfect, and his latest release, Leave You Forever, is awesome. The self-titled will definitely surprise people and make Cloud Nothings one of the hottest acts of 2011, and rightly so.
